Official Mission Statement: Center for Protection of Children, Inc.

Mission
The Center for Protection of Children, Inc. (CPC) is an educational institution dedicated to protecting children from risk of exposure to sexual, emotional and physical domestic violence.


Execution
The CPC will utilize every appropriate means consistent with our corporate charter including but not limited to the:
· preparation and distribution of child protection educational materials;
· advancement of the welfare of children who are at risk or who may become at risk or are the subject of court proceedings by providing: clinical services and evaluations for such children and their families; child protection training to attorneys, advocates, judges, magistrates, legal and medical staff involved in such cases; expert witness services for the purpose of educating finders of fact and law about child protection;
· establishment of a center to provide child protection training for psychologists, other mental health professionals, judges, lawyers and social workers as well as the general public. The center will participate at educational institutions, institutes, conferences and provide workshops, training clinics, training programs, and make presentations to the printed media, radio and television;
· establishment of an institute for multidisciplinary research in the areas of child welfare and protection. Research will be conducted by CPC staff and in partnership with qualified researchers in the field and at academic institutions;
· promotion of and/or partnering with other recognized charitable organizations that are engaged in protection of children.
