Dr. Toby Kaufman, PhD
Dr. Toby Kaufman has been in private practice treating children, adults and families for over 20 years. Specialty areas include but are not limited to treatment of victims of child abuse or childhood trauma generally, and custody and divorce matters as well. Dr. Kaufman has also been involved in forensic work throughout her career, such as conducting evaluations related to abuse and to custody. In addition, Dr. Kaufman has served as an adjunct professor and supervisor at Montclair State University and New York University and as an adjunct clinical supervisor at Yeshiva University. Dr. Kaufman also consults with various schools and programs and has spoken, written and led workshops primarily in the area of child sexual abuse. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Psychological Association, chairing the personnel committee of that Board, and is a member of the APA, NYSPA and APSAC.
